Alabama High School Softball - Belgreen bounces Phillips
April 7, 2022: Russellville, AL 35653 The Belgreen Bulldogs (Russellville, AL) softball routed the visiting Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), 17-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bulldogs (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Red Bay (Red Bay, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Red Bay was routed by Saltillo (Saltillo, MS), 10-0, in a league bout.
The Bears now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Winston County for a non-league bout on Monday, April 11. Phillips will confront a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-7.
