Michigan High School Softball - Montabella nudges Morrice
April 7, 2022: Blanchard, MI 49310 Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI), 12-11 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Charles for a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Montabella will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 24-7 league loss to Merrill (Merrill, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Morrice falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI) to battle the Wolfpack in a Central Michigan challenge on Friday, April 8. The Wolfpack enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
