The Taylor Wildcats baseball team (Pierson, FL), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Lake Weir Hurricanes (Ocala, FL)

The Hurricanes now hold a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunnellon for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 11. Lake Weir will confront a Tigers team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Union County (Lake Butler, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Peniel Baptist Academy Warriors (Palatka, FL) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 10. Taylor will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 4-11 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Crescent City (Crescent City, FL).
