April 7, 2023: Greenville, KY 42345 Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calloway County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. Muhlenberg County will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Mt. Vernon falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Ohio County (Hartford, KY) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 7. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
