The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) and the host Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL), saw Pittsfield's baseball team gain a win over Mendon Unity by a tally of 12-5.

The Saukees (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Calhoun (Hardin, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Calhoun held off Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL), 9-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs face the Canton Tigers (Canton, MO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Mendon Unity will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
