The Rushville-Industry Rockets baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Mendon Unity Mustangs to 2 in the Rockets league win on Monday.

The Rockets now hold a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seymour for a West Central test on Tuesday, May 6. Rushville-Industry will play a Indians team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Calhoun (Hardin, IL). The Indians record now stands at 7-11.

With the defeat, Mendon Unity drops to 10-9 on the year. The Mustangs host Seymour (Payson, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, May 9. The Indians go into the test with a record of 9-11.
