In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Newington Nor'easters volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Hall Titans.

The Nor'easters (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmington (Farmington, CT). The River Hawks come into the Central Connecticut - West challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Farmington edged Darien (Darien, CT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
