The Fort Frye Cadets softball squad (Beverly, OH), was edged 9-8 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV)

With the triumph, Point Pleasant improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Big Blacks travel to George Washington (Charleston, WV) to face the Patriots in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 7-2. George Washington won 13-0 in their recent league contest against Huntington (Huntington, WV)
