The Lamar Thunder baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting La Junta Tigers to 5 in the Thunder league win on Tuesday.

The Thunder now hold a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's for a non-league test on Monday, April 13.

With the defeat, La Junta drops to 2-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO) to play the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, April 9. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 8-5. Pueblo County won 9-0 in their recent league test against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO)
