The Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX) softball routed the host Odem Owls (Odem, TX), 15-5 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aransas Pass for a 3A Region IV District 29 outing on Friday, April 10. Mathis will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 6-3 league loss to George West (George West, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Odem moves to 10-19 on the season. The Owls travel to Taft (Taft, TX) to encounter the Greyhounds in a 3A Region IV District 29 outing on Friday, April 10.
