The Mayfield Cubs softball squad (Pasadena, CA), was routed 16-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA)

With the triumph, Polytechnic improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Panthers host Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 8. The Wolverines enter the contest with a record of 3-3. Harvard-Westlake won 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA)

The Cubs now hold a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Westridge for a Prep contest on Tuesday, April 14.
