The Ray Bearcats softball squad (Kearny, AZ), was routed 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ)

With the triumph, Miami improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Vandals travel to Pima (Pima, AZ) to face the Roughriders in a 2A East contest on Thursday, April 9. The Roughriders go into the test with a record of 11-6. Pima won 25-3 in their recent league test against Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ)

The Bearcats (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Superior (Superior, AZ). The Panthers go into the 1A East test with a 13-1 record.
