In Monday's non-league match, the host Globe Tigers softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Ray Bearcats.

The Tigers (17-9) will now prepare for their match against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Sentinels come into the 3A Central match with a 16-1 record. In their last match, Seton Catholic notched a victory over Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ), 22-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 21. Ray will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 14-5 record after their 23-3 non-league loss to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ).
