Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ), 11-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Globe improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Miami (Miami, AZ) to play the Vandals in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 25. The Vandals come into the match with a record of 5-4. Miami won 9-1 in their recent non-league match against Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ)

In their next game, the Gophers confront the Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) in a 3A Central match, on Friday, March 27. Florence will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 22-0 league loss to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ).
