The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) and the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), observed Smithson Valley's softball team prevail over New Braunfels by a tally of 10-0.

The Rangers (22-3) will now prepare for their bout against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds go into the 5A Region IV District 26 bout with a 0-23 record. In their last bout, Wagner was routed by Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 10-7, in a league bout.
