The Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) softball routed the visiting New Site Royals (New Site, MS), 10-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baldwyn for a 2A Region 1 outing on Thursday, April 9. Walnut will encounter a Bearcats team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-13.
