Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Serra upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Padres host Alameda (Alameda, CA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 10-3. Alameda won 6-5 in their recent league test against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA)

With the defeat, Archbishop Mitty falls to 10-5 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Liberty (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 12-4. Liberty won 12-7 in their recent league test against Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA)
