North Carolina High School Baseball - Heide Trask loses to East Columbus
April 8, 2022: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450 The East Columbus Gators baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Heide Trask Titans to 2 in the Gators league victory on Friday.
The Gators (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Pender was overwhelmed by Whiteville (Whiteville, NC), 15-0, in a league match.
The Titans (8-5) will now prepare for their match against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Stallions go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, South Columbus ran past West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 6-5, in a league match.
