East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 10-2 in a league test.

With the win, East Wilkes upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Cardinals host North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, April 11. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-4. North Wilkes lost 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
