Spectators at Friday's league battle between the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) and the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), saw South Point's baseball squad beat Kings Mountain by a margin of 5-2.

Coming up next, the Red Raiders play the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 11. South Point will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC).
