April 8, 2022: Flint Hill, VA 22627 Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Wakefield Country Day Owls (Flint Hill, VA), 10-3 in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Owls now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tandem Friends for a VISAA Division 3 match on Thursday, April 14. Wakefield will play a Badger team coming off a 10-7 league loss to Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA). The Badger record now stands at 0-4.
