Kansas High School Softball - Central Heights bounces Northern Heights
April 8, 2022: Richmond, KS 66080 Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northern Heights Wildcats (Allen, KS), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Central Heights will face a Vikings squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Council Grove (Council Grove, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Northern Heights falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Chase County (Cottonwood Falls, KS) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Chase County lost 15-5 in their recent league challenge against West Franklin (Pomona, KS)
