Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Canterbury School Saints (New Milford, CT), 16-9 in a league test.

The Griffins now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wilbraham & Monson Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 12.

In their next game, the Saints face the Hamden Hall Country Day (Hamden, CT) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 10. Canterbury School will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
