April 8, 2023: Somers, CT 06071 Somers Spartans (Somers, CT) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Enfield Eagles (Enfield, CT), 15-2 in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rockville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 11.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 13. Enfield will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Centaurs enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT).
