Wisconsin High School Softball - Deerfield holds off Parkview
April 8, 2023: Orfordville, WI 53576 The crowd at Saturday's league match between the Deerfield Demons (Deerfield, WI) and the host Parkview Vikings (Orfordville, WI), saw Deerfield's softball squad nip Parkview by a count of 8-6.
The Demons now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Randolph for a non-league match on Monday, April 10. Deerfield will face a Rockets squad coming off a 31-0 league win over Wayland Academy (Beaver Dam, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Parkview falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Turner (Beloit, WI) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, April 14. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 5-2. Turner won 2-1 in their recent league match against McFarland (McFarland, WI)
