April 8, 2024: Damascus, VA 24236 Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), 20-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Eastside upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Spartans host Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to battle the Pioneers in a Cumberland test on Tuesday, April 9. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 1-3.
With the defeat, Holston falls to 1-4 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA) to battle the Indians in a Hogoheegee test on Monday, April 15. The Indians come into the test with a record of 3-3. Rural Retreat won 24-4 in their recent non-league test against J.I. Burton (Norton, VA)
