Virginia High School Soccer - Skyline held off by Broadway
April 8, 2024: Broadway, VA 22815 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) and the visiting Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), saw Broadway's soccer squad get by Skyline by a count of 2-1.
The Gobblers now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host East Rockingham for a Valley test on Friday, April 12. Broadway will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Skyline drops to 1-5 on the season. The Hawks travel to Warren County (Front Royal, VA) to meet the Wildcats in a Eastern Shore test on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-4. Warren County lost 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)
