In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Trinity Lutheran Cougars baseball team scored a close 7-3 victory over the Rising Sun Shiners.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Crothersville (Crothersville, IN). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Crothersville was overwhelmed by Borden (Borden, IN), 15-0, in a league game.
