April 8, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Providence Catholic Celtics soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting St. Laurence Vikings to 1 in the Celtics league victory on Tuesday.
The Celtics now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Aurora Central Catholic for a Chicago Catholic bout on Thursday, April 10. Providence Catholic will play a Chargers squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, St. Laurence moves to 3-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 10. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Nazareth Academy won 5-2 in their recent non-league bout against Resurrection (Chicago, IL)
