Virginia High School Soccer - Rocktown knocks off Broadway
April 8, 2025: Broadway, VA 22815 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Rocktown Raptors soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Broadway Gobblers.
The Raptors (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Eagles go into the Valley outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, East Rockingham prevailed over Luray (Luray, VA), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Gobblers confront the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) in a Valley outing, on Friday, April 11. Broadway will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
