Virginia High School Soccer - Spotswood nudges Rockbridge County
April 8, 2025: Lexington, VA 24450 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) and the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), saw Spotswood's soccer squad hold off Rockbridge County by a count of 2-1.
The Trailblazers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights enter the Valley battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Turner Ashby tipped Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a Valley battle, on Monday, April 14. Rockbridge County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 8-0 league loss to Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA).
