The Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) softball nipped the visiting East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), 10-9 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Wolves now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burns for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 9. Lincolnton will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, East Burke moves to 4-12 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to encounter the Hilltoppers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 9. The Hilltoppers come into the outing with a record of 9-3. R-S Central won 5-0 in their recent league outing against Patton (Morganton, NC)
