In Wednesday's league game, the host Somers Spartans baseball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the East Windsor Panthers.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Ellington (Ellington, CT). The Knights go into the North Central Connecticut game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Ellington knocked off Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT), 14-0, in a league game.

Next, the Panthers play the Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT) in a North Central Connecticut game, on Friday, April 10. East Windsor will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 7-6 league win over East Granby (East Granby, CT).
