The McQueen Lancers edged the visiting Carson Senators softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Lancers play the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a 5A North challenge, on Thursday, April 9. McQueen will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 20-4 league win over Reno (Reno, NV).
