The Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) softball nipped the host Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN), 16-15 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Grizzly Cubs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southport for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 11. Franklin Community will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Plainfield moves to 1-3 on the season. The Quakers travel to New Palestine (New Palestine, IN) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league outing on Friday, April 10.
