The Hillcrest Rams the visiting Riverside Warriors softball squad by a count of 4-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams play the Greenwood Eagles (Greenwood, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, April 10. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 5-4 league loss to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC).

The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Rebels enter the AAAAA Region 2 challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, James F. Byrnes edged Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC), 21-1, in a league challenge.
