April 9, 2022: Oakland, CA 94605 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) and the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), saw Bishop O'Dowd's volleyball squad beat Nevada Union by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Bishop O'Dowd upgrades its record to 20-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to Clovis West (Fresno, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 9. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 29-1. Clovis West won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Clovis North (Fresno, CA)
With the loss, Nevada Union drops to 22-5 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to battle the Knights in a Foothill Valley contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 10-5. Rio Linda lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)
