Washington High School Baseball - Mercer Island holds off Glacier Peak
April 9, 2022: Snohomish, WA 98296 Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Glacier Peak Grizzlies (Snohomish, WA), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mercer Island upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Islanders host Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA) to battle the Kangaroos in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. The Kangaroos come into the test with a record of 0-1. Lake Washington lost 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Juanita (Kirkland, WA)
With the defeat, Glacier Peak falls to 3-3 on the season. The Grizzlies host Kamiak (Mukilteo, WA) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-1. Kamiak lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA)
