April 9, 2024: Worcester, MA 01606 The Burncoat Patriots crushed the visiting South Colonels baseball team by a tally of 12-6 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North for a Inner City bout on Friday, April 12. Burncoat will face a Polar Bears team coming off a 26-1 league loss to Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-3.
Next, the Colonels face the Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 10. South will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Red Raiders enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA).
