April 9, 2024: New York, NY 10003 The LaSalle Academy Cardinals (New York, NY) baseball trounced the visiting Nazareth Kingsmen (Brooklyn, NY), 13-0 in Tuesday's league contest.

LA SALLE ROLLS FOR FIRST WIN
Tuesday, April 9, 2024 – The La Salle Cardinals rolled to their first win of the season knocking out Nazareth 13-0 in five innings on Randall’s Island. Freshman, Ryan Gallaher, was the star of the game pitching a complete game 1-hitter with 12 strikeouts and going 2 for 2 (R, RBI) at the plate helping to even La Salle’s league record at 1-1.
After exchanging zeros in the first inning, the Cardinals struck for two runs in the bottom of the second inning before exploding for 11 in the bottom of the third. That third inning was La Salle’s biggest output of the season as they nearly batted around twice and got RBI triples from Manuel Ramirez and Henry Vasseur. Nazareth got their lone hit in the top of the fourth on a bloop base hit to right field, but he was stranded on third base as the inning ended.
On Deck: The Cardinals travel to Brooklyn on Thursday, April 11th to play Bishop Loughlin. First Pitch is slated for 4:30pm at the Parade Grounds Field #2.
