Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), 8-6 in a league test.

With the win, Mesquite upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Knights in a test on Wednesday, April 10. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-2. St. Mary's lost 8-7 in their recent league test against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)

With the defeat, Saguaro falls to 7-2 on the season. The Sabercats host Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ) to battle the Rattlers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 10.
