California High School Softball - Mt. Whitney bounces Porterville
April 9, 2024: Visalia, CA 93277 Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA), 20-1 in a league challenge.
The Pioneers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Golden West for a challenge on Thursday, April 11. Mt. Whitney will battle a Trailblazers squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Selma (Selma, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Porterville falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Redwood (Visalia, CA) to battle the Rangers in a challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 15-4. Redwood won 13-5 in their recent league challenge against El Diamante (Visalia, CA)
