Michigan High School Lacrosse - Kalamazoo Central drops to Mattawan
April 9, 2024: Kalamazoo, MI 49006 In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Mattawan Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a good 19-0 victory over the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants.
The Wildcats now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pennfield for a Division 2 District 6 battle on Thursday, April 11. Mattawan will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Maroon Giants clash with the Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 11. Kalamazoo Central will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 12-10 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI).
