May 2, 2024: Mattawan, MI 49071 The Mattawan Wildcats lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Portage Northern Huskies to 4 in the Wildcats league win on Thursday.
The Wildcats (9-0) will now prepare for their game against Okemos (Okemos, MI). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record.
The Huskies (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs go into the Division 2 District 6 game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Portage Central prevailed over Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI), 12-5, in a league game.
