Missouri High School Softball - Summersville can't hold off Alton
April 9, 2024: Alton, MO 65606 The Alton Comets softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Summersville Wildcats to 7 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Alton moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Comets host Van Buren (Van Buren, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, April 11. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 3-3. Van Buren won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Winona (Winona, MO)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Plato Eagles (Plato, MO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 11. Summersville will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record.
