April 9, 2024: Springfield, MA 01109 Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ware Indians (Ware, MA), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Springfield for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Central will face a Terriers squad coming off a 17-5 league loss to Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA). The Terriers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Ware falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Holyoke (Holyoke, MA) to face the Purple Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Purple Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
