Minnesota High School Softball - New Ulm bounces Fairmont
April 9, 2024: New Ulm, MN 56073 New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN), 13-0 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mankato West for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. New Ulm will face a Scarlets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Scarlets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Fairmont falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN) to face the Buccaneers in a South Central challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Blue Earth lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Maple River (Mapleton, MN)
