Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), 15-10 in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Bend Hightower for a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Friday, April 12. Fort Bend Elkins will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to George Ranch (Richmond, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Fort Bend Bush falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Broncos host Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to face the Rangers in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 2-15. Fort Bend Clements lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX)
