April 9, 2024: Viola, AR 72583 Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR), 8-4 in a league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Calico Rock for a 1A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, April 11.
With the loss, Viola falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Norfork (Norfork, AR) to battle the Panthers in a 1A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Norfork lost 15-10 in their recent league challenge against Rural Special (Fox, AR)
