Washington High School Baseball - Capital edges River Ridge
April 9, 2025: Lacey, WA 98513 The Capital Cougars baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host River Ridge Hawks to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cougars now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silas for a 3A Puget Sound - Narrows test on Thursday, April 10. Capital will play a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
With the defeat, River Ridge drops to 5-7 on the year. The Hawks host Sequim (Sequim, WA) to play the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 3-5. Sequim won 5-4 in their recent league test against Port Angeles (Port Angeles, WA)
